Virtual Concerts Every Saturday Night, Starting 8pm Saturday 24th April

 With music venues closed because of Covid, we plan to keep music alive every Saturday night on our website, Facebook and Youtube channel. Starting 8pm Saturday 24th April, a new series of online thirty-minute concerts will feature some of Northern Irelands finest songwriters. Almost forty writers have agreed to perform their original songs In Concert, as part of the PANARTS BELFAST SONGWRITERS™ SERIES and the free shows will feature a wide range of musical styles filmed live. Panarts Director Colin Magee said;

“The Covid crisis has affected everyone’s career in the music industry. Everyone. Without the support and funding of The Arts Council NI and Department for Communities, we couldn’t bring this new music series to the public. We have to be creative and find new ways of reaching audiences during this crisis and at the same time, encourage everyone to continue writing and enjoying music. This series will reach a wide audience across the world and we hope people will tune in to enjoy these free concerts every Saturday night at”

The 24th April Saturday night shows will feature the wonderful sounds of REWS (Shauna Tohill) at 8pm and guitar wizard Simon McBride at 9pm. Next Saturday 1st May is a special night of beautiful music featuring Emma Horan and Jonny Fitch at 8pm then Amy Montgomery, Simon Murphy, Kaz Hawkins at 9pm.

You can follow the free series through our website or on Facebook and Youtube at Panarts Belfast Songwriters. The new series is supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Stability Programme, funded by the Department for Communities
